Platinum Coast Technology provides fast, reliable on‑site IT service for businesses and home offices throughout Southwest Florida, including Bonita Springs, Naples, Fort Myers, and surrounding areas. When technology issues disrupt your day, we dispatch a highly qualified, certified technician to your location as quickly as possible to diagnose and resolve computer or network problems efficiently and professionally.
Our experienced technicians are equipped to handle a wide range of server, workstation, and network issues, from routine maintenance to urgent repairs. We specialize in keeping your systems running smoothly through proactive network management, server upgrades and maintenance, secure network installations, and ongoing technical support. Whether you need help with routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, or overall network security, our team is prepared to deliver dependable solutions tailored to your environment.
Platinum Coast Technology also provides comprehensive preventative maintenance services, including virus removal and protection, spyware and adware cleanup, software troubleshooting, system upgrades, and user training for select applications. We assist with data backup solutions and disaster recovery planning to help protect your business from unexpected data loss. In addition, we welcome specialized IT projects and custom technology solutions designed to meet unique business needs.
Our on‑site service rates, updated January 1, 2023, are straightforward and transparent. Standard on‑site service is billed at $139 per hour, with after‑hours service available at $199 per hour. Emergency service is available with a response time of four hours or less, and includes a $60 emergency service fee plus the applicable hourly rate. After the first hour of service, billing is calculated in 30‑minute increments to ensure fair and accurate pricing.
Travel time charges are clearly defined. A $20 travel charge applies for on‑site service within our standard service area. For locations outside our service area, labor is billed at the standard on‑site rate for one‑way travel time only. For example, if travel time to a client location is 1.5 hours one way, the billed travel time would be 1.5 hours. Travel time exemptions of up to one hour are available for clients enrolled in managed services plans.

Q: How does this service work?
A: Call our office and begin by speaking to one of our technicians. The technician will direct you to connect to the service. Once you connect, you are prompted to enter a code and when you do it will download a small plug in. Simply run that plug in, which allows your support representative to view your desktop and share control of your mouse and keyboard. At any time during a support session, you can take control of your computer just by moving your mouse. You will be in charge at all times.
Remote Support Rate $50 per half hour.
We bill in half hour increments for this service.
