Ray Woods

Ray Woods moved to thew Bonita Springs area back in 2005 and opened up Platinum Coast Technology. The focus of the new business was to help and work with Small businesses and be a partner with their owners helping them with all IT matters.

Ray was a hobbyist in IT building his first computer network with DOS 5.0 back in the early 90s. He ran a multi-line BBS in San Diego CA which is what helped him learn that IT was his calling. Other pre tech experience was working as a banker and learning about relationship building as an employee of a private bank. Ray took his first official IT job back in 1999 when he took a job as a technician with a computer service company. He worked to become certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and passed several CompTIA certifications before striking out on his own in 2005.

Now Ray continues to stay current in IT with continuing education and is constantly striving to build excellent relationships and partnerships with clients all over southwest Florida.
